Classes: Starting the 2nd week of school

This year strings class will be split up into two main sections with a

beginner/review class on Tuesdays after school and an intermediate/advanced orchestra class on Wednesdays. The beginner/review class will be comprised of students who were in the beginner class last year as well as brand new students to the violin, viola or cello.

As soon as the students from last year are ready, I will move them onto the orchestra sometime in the school year. This year I will be combining the intermediate/advanced groups into a larger orchestra so if your student was in the Tuesday class last year, they will be in the Wednesday class this year.

On Wednesdays after the orchestra class, I’m excited to announce that I’ll be holding a quartet class for our most advanced students. I’ve already informed some of these students, but I am happy to open the playing field for anyone who would like to audition for this opportunity.

Private Lessons:

There will be no private lessons held during school hours this year. All lessons will happen after classes on Tuesday (4:30-6:30) and Wednesday (5:30-6:30) or after school on Thursday from 3:30-5:30. Please email me with your preferred ½ hour lesson time. I also teach from my studio on Main St. in Louisville on Mondays and Fridays if none of these times work for you.
